We love Sintra. Like, really LOVE it. But even we can admit It has one big problem. Once you start exploring this enchanting patch of the world, it’s almost impossible to stop, and we know a lot of you don’t have the time to spend days and days exploring every last forest track like we did as kids. Luckily, you still have time to see a mysterious garden and palace, surrounded by metaphor and myth, that many think is even more spectacular than its more famous red-and-yellow cousin. We’re talking about Quinta da Regaleira.
With our jeep we’ll drive by historic palaces (Sintra National Palace, Seteais Palace), sharing the best legends and facts about each monument before stepping inside the magical Quinta da Regaleira.
Our half-day journey finishes around 11.30. We will finish the tour at Quinta da Regaleira and from there you can visit by foot the old town of Sintra.

We’ll pick you up from the train station and head to Quinta da Regaleira for a visit to the palace and gardens, which are filled with mystery, metaphors and underground tunnels.
After some free time in the gardens, jump back in the jeep for a drive-by of the many palaces and castles that give Sintra its UNESCO World Heritage label. Say “olá” to the Sintra National Palace, Seteais Palace. We’ll share the best legends, stories and facts as we go.
Our tour will finish in Quinta da Regaleira and from there you can explore by yourself the old town or take a train at Sintra train station.
Just 30-minutes from downtown Lisbon, spent half a day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of Sintra with us. Bounce along secret forest paths and century-old roads in our convertible vintage jeeps, passing by half a dozen historic palaces and the Moorish Castle. Best of all, we’ll explore the grounds of Quinta da Regaleira together where we’ll share all the best stories, legends and facts.
